Senior Impact & Compliance Analyst
We have a core belief that our toxic, sedentary lifestyles are making humans, and the planet, sick. So we’re on a mission to change it.
At Vivobarefoot, we are on the lookout for a Senior Impact & Compliance Analyst to join us on our mission. As we grow, so does the complexity of the environmental and regulatory landscape we operate in. This role exists to make sure our impact is real, rigorous, and credible.
We’re looking for a technically brilliant, systems thinking ESG & Environmental Impact Lead to help us navigate fast moving global regulation, build robust environmental intelligence, and turn complex requirements into practical action that moves the business forward.
This is a hands on, high impact role at the intersection of science, compliance, data and regeneration, helping Vivobarefoot walk the talk as a truly regenerative business.
WHERE YOU’LL PLAY
ESG Compliance & Regulatory Intelligence
You’ll co lead the development and ongoing ownership of Vivobarefoot’s ESG compliance roadmap, ensuring we stay ahead of – and strategically respond to – evolving global regulation. This includes:
Building and maintaining a clear, prioritised view of ESG legislation across key regions (EU, UK, US/CA), translating complex legal requirements into practical implementation plans, timelines and resourcing needs
Actively monitoring and assessing regulations such as CSRD/ESRS, DPP, ESPR, EPR, Green Claims Directive, PEFCR, and emerging US and UK frameworks – identifying risks, capability gaps and decision points before they become issues
Supporting the preparation of regulatory disclosures and climate related reporting, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and alignment across frameworks including GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP and ESRS
Managing external verification and assurance processes (limited and reasonable assurance), coordinating regulatory enquiries, and representing Vivobarefoot in industry working groups and consultations
Safeguarding the scientific integrity and regulatory compliance of all environmental and product claims across marketing, digital channels and external communications
Environmental Data, Analysis & Impact Measurement
This role is central to building Vivobarefoot’s environmental intelligence. You’ll lead the design and management of the systems, partnerships and analysis that underpin our impact claims and decision making, including:
Designing and owning environmental data systems and analytics infrastructure, turning complex datasets into insightful dashboards, KPIs and progress reporting that enable action across the business
Leading external partnerships for carbon footprinting (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) in line with GHG Protocol and SBTi, with a strong focus on Scope 3 Category 1 within footwear and textile supply chains
Overseeing LCA programmes aligned to ISO 14040/14044 and PEFCR, while progressively building internal capability, data ownership and technical literacy
Leading Vivobarefoot’s SBTi readiness and first externally verified target setting, ensuring methodological robustness and long term credibility
Building environmental impact models and scenario analyses across climate, water and waste to inform sourcing, product development and risk management
Embedding environmental insights into VMatrix sustainability scoring and product development processes
Engaging value chain partners to drive Scope 3 impact reduction, coordinating the collection, validation and traceability of product and manufacturing level data
Project Management & Programme Leadership
You’ll also play a key leadership role across the Regeneration team and wider business by:
Supporting B Corp certification and recertification, evidence collection and continuous improvement initiatives
Managing complex technical sustainability projects end to end – from scoping and planning through to delivery and quality assurance
Building strong, collaborative relationships with external consultants, verification bodies, certification schemes and technical partners
Supporting the Regeneration Lead with strategy development, feasibility analysis and implementation planning
Working cross functionally to embed sustainability, compliance and environmental intelligence into day to day decision making
Contributing technical expertise to innovation, materials assessment, certification processes and value chain initiatives
Representing the Regeneration team in cross functional forums, leadership discussions and industry initiatives
