At Vivobarefoot we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, technically minded Management Accountant to join our Finance team.
As our Management Accountant you will be key in providing accurate, timely financial information to support commercial decision‑making across a fast‑growing business. The role focuses on month‑end reporting, margin analysis, stock accounting, forecasting, and partnering with operational teams to improve financial performance. You’re comfortable working in a multi‑entity, international environment, with experience of intercompany accounting and group reporting as the business scales, including a newly established US entity.
Vivobarefoot is becoming an AI and digital‑first organisation, with Finance playing a key role in driving efficiency and insight. You’ll actively support the automation of finance processes, help adopt AI‑enabled tools, and challenge manual or legacy ways of working. This role suits someone curious about how technology can streamline reporting, improve decision‑making, and enable Finance to operate as a smart, scalable partner to the business.
WHERE YOU’LL PLAY
Management Accounts and Month End
Contribute to the preparation of the monthly management group accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
Play an integral role in the month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines
Maintain robust controls over key balance sheet areas, such as inventory, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany balances
Own intercompany accounting processes, including reconciliations, recharges, and eliminations, and support group accounts consolidation across UK and US entities
Support year‑end audit processes and statutory accounts preparation
Financial Reporting and processes
Elevate Financial Reporting to provide deeper insights, analysis, and meet statutory accounting requirements
Lead ad‑hoc reporting and projects, partnering closely with Tech and Operations on new initiatives, including assessment of relevant technical accounting requirements
Continuous improvement - looking for opportunities to streamline and automate across the finance function and feeding ideas into the team
Budgeting and Forecasting
Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
Provide clear commentary on performance vs budget and forecast
Act as a finance business partner to non‑finance stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights

Essential:
Part‑qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Management Accountant role
Strong management accounting experience in retail, ecommerce or a product‑based business
Solid understanding of inventory accounting and gross margin analysis
Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with large data sets
Experience working with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite)
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with non‑finance stakeholders
Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting in a fast‑growth environment
