We are looking for an Ecommerce Trade Lead on a 12 month maternity cover contract.
The role is responsible for creating, actioning and reporting on the regional trading strategies for our UK, EU & German websites and is ultimately responsible for delivering regional revenue targets.
The role reports into the Ecommerce Director and manages a Regional Content Lead and Web Merchandiser.
What you'll be doing.....
- Trade Strategy Development - Lead the planning and implementation of e-commerce trade strategies which ensure the delivery of our monthly revenue targets.
- Trade Calendar Ownership - Develop and maintain a detailed regional trade calendar that outlines key campaigns, promotional activities and seasonal initiatives, and ensure all digital channels are aligned with activation plans.
- Reporting & Analysis – Prepare regular reporting on key sales metrics, ecom funnel, promotional effectiveness, and customer engagement. Lead weekly trade meeting analysis for UK, EU & DE websites.
- Conversion Rate Optimisation – Analyse customer behaviour and website performance to identify barriers to conversion and opportunities for improvement. Work with global CRO lead to implement an effective CRO roadmap which delivers improved performance for each region.
- Market & Competitor Analysis - Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Team Leadership – Lead a regional ecommerce team including content manager & web merchandiser.
What sort of experience and skills do you need to apply? These....
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management / trading and experience with conversion rate optimization.
- Proven experience creating and managing effective trade calendars and promotional plans.
- Strong analytical skills, with in-depth experience of Google Analytics and ContentSquare.
- Previous experience using Magento.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising, logistics and creative teams.
